On Saturday, September 25, the Vincentians and Parish community of St. Margaret of Scotland in Chicago participated in their annual Friends of The Poor Walk.  Beautiful weather and a great turnout coupled with great food and a raffle made for a fantastic day for everyone! 

SVdP Chicago, in partnership with the Academy of St. Benedict the African and the Greater Chicago Food Depository is hosting a Mobile Produce Pantry on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. All who are in need within the community are welcome! The event takes place in the school parking lot, entrance is on Justine St. For driving directions, please use the school’s address 6020 S. Laflin Avenue, Chicago, IL 60636.If you would like to volunteer to help us in our efforts to set up, distribute food items, and clean up, please contact us! Mark your calendars and save the date for The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Chicago’s Annual Memorial and Awards Mass scheduled for Sunday, November 21, 2021.

All Vincentians are invited to gather together, celebrating another year of spirituality and fellowship. Remembering those that passed and honoring those among us who tirelessly continue to lead as we strive to serve our neighbors in need.

This year’s mass will be held virtually. Monsignor Lyle and Father Kelly will preside the mass which will be held at St. Benedict in Blue Island.
