Prayer Requests

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul seek to grow in spirituality through acts of charity to those in need and to minister to the needy as we see Jesus in those whom we serve.

Please pray with us for the following:

• Anthony & Steve – Father thank you Jesus for strengthening my relationship with my brother Steve, Jesus, Amen.
• Nilda – pray for nildas health and all of her meeds that she my find a home.
• Daniel – please pray for my health finances and protection pray for all of my needs and those all close to me god bless.
• David H. – Please pray that I will be offered work to pay my bills and to help other people that are less fortunate than myself Amem
• Neenimon – I am neenimon no job to get a job quickly more problems in my life please pray for me.
• Daranee T. – Please pray for Ms. Daranee Teapthong, who is getting radiation therapy for breast cancer. God grant you the ability to stop the spread of cancerous breast tissue. Her safety was actually offered as payment. The membrane is delicately loosened and treated with heavenly care.
• Boontipat P. – Please pray for Mr. Boontipat Patthamakom, who has a serious lymphoma. Please, God, end the cancer, alleviate the child’s suffering, and heal him. This allows him to live comfortably.
• Dominic Yingyos Teapthong – Please pray for the Thai Archdiocese of Bangkok while they look for a new archbishop. Please allow me to petition Our Lady of the Assumption to intercede for us.
• Family – For my growing children & Juan to never use drugs, alcohol or rebel. Please God put the fear in them now so that they fear You Lord and live a righteous life immediately. In Jesus name Amen! No more days wasted. Come holy spirit and fill our lives.

• Brianna B – She prays and cries for her father who refuses to acknowledge her because of disability, … Alone, survivor of bio father doesn’t acknowledge because of her disability..She is VERY lonely for people as not in Day Group and trying to find placement as permanent w 24 hrs care like she used to be.. • Charles Daniel Ryan S – I pray for peace and healing for all of God’s children in this world. I pray for peace of mind for those that are confused in their soul; plagued by mental angst; plagued by depression; plagued by witchcraft; plagued by abandonment, plagued by their past, plagued by grief, plagued by addictions; plagued by self-doubts and self-worth; plagued by temptations of the devil; plagued by hurt feelings and pain; plagued by loneliness; plagued by their violations of the Holy word and scripture; plagued by violations against their children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents and their family; plagued by years of generational abuse; plagued by systemic racism and discrimination; plagued by homelessness; plagued by comparisons; plagued by financial insecurity; plagued by being lost in this world. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness; Blessed are the poor in spirit; Blessed are those who mourn; Blessed are the meek; Blessed are the pure of heart; Blessed are the peace makers; Blessed are the merciful. I pray for blessings and peace to all of God’s children in this world, so that this world heals one person at a time. We are all one in the world of God.
• Maria R – Por favor ayúdame en oración para que el señor le traiga luz a mi hija y le ayúde a encontrar la manera de ayudarme a pagar todas las facturas médicas que recibí después de que me rompí el fémur. Ella me ha cuidado desde que falleció mi esposo y a medida que pasa el tiempo siento que me vuelvo más una carga. Sé que está luchando para llegar a fin de mes. Se que nuestro Senor es misericordioso y que Dios esta donde dos o tres se reúnen en su nombre.

• Eileen H – My name is Gregor from Germany. Here I was able to get know Eileen from Chicago. She is such a kind and wonderful person and I like her very much. After spending the past two years living in Germany, she has recently returned back to Chicago after suffering from autoimmune desease. I didn’t know her well, so unfortunately I couldn’t say goodbye. So I pray to God and his mother Mary for Eileen’s health, for all the best in her life and for me to be able to say goodbye to her somehow and perhaps seeing her again one day.
• Julie C – Please pray for my baby in womb I’m pregnancy and I’m desperately seeking for God’s powerful almighty miracle blessings deliverance healing hands upon my WOMB for god to be with me every step of the way for God’s guiding hands of protections would be over.
  And around within this little life and may he or she grow and develop without any problems complications I’m desperately seeking for prayers for my baby in my WOMB with God’s mercy and grace to take full control over my entire pregnancy journey with good health for god to place his powerful almighty miracle blessings deliverance healing hands upon my baby inside my WOMB and cover my baby under the shadows of his wings and keep my baby fully protected and with a successful heartbeat growth with all his or her ten fingers and ten toes for a perfect miracle blessings baby and a successful healthy safe delivery in God’s holy Image for god to place his signature on the birth certificate
• Cloise L – I have been struggling for quite some time, and at times it seems like a can’t catch a break. I have been trying to find a Place for me and my boys to call home. My prayer as a single mom is to be able to do that in the time frame I have to move. I am hoping to find someone who will work with me and have a really good heart and rent to me a place. I know God has somewhere out here within DuPage County for me and my boys. I love the schools out here for my kids, they feel safe. I am just praying for patience and that God send the right person, right in the time I need who will be understanding. I just continue to pray for peace, good health, and to be able to keep my kids in a safe environment. That doors will open for us; we have been through a lot battling with different housing situations over the past years. I am in need of a major BREAKTHROUGH.
• Ray G. – Prayers for a great resolution to a hard situation.
• Ted G. – A recent fall off a ladder caused damage to the right side hip, and a fractured tail bone. 8 weeks of therapy did not provide healing or pain relief. Trying a non- surgical procedure using my blood platelets injections for the body to self heal. So far this procedure only provided minimal relief, so the next process is a hip replacement. Please pray for a successful surgery. Thank You.
• Tom C. – Prayers of comfort and healing as you battle brain cancer. May God shine his love upon you and bless you with a miracle of more good days ahead.
• Jesus – Please pray for my brother who is actively attempting to stay committed to healing and getting better. He is trying his best to stay in treatments while having to be on FMLA without pay. Pray so he doesn’t loose faith. Please pray for his inner child to be healed and for him to find Jesus’ love during this hard times. Please pray so he has food to eat, gas money and specially for him to feel God’s love when he feels so lonely!
• Kathleen H. – Please will you pray for Kath H as she has cancer.
• David H. – Please will you pray for me that i will very soon be offered lots of work to pay my bills and to help other people that are less fortunate than myself Amen
• Danielle – Please pray for me during this job search period. I have been searching since January before graduating. Had 2 internships, hoping it would lead to full time work, that was not the case. I have had good interviews, but lots of hesitation because I need a work permit to work in the U.S. I have a lot of work experience and graduate-school education, I pay taxes, donate my time and money when I have it, and I did well in school. I am having a lot of anxiety because it has been a long time with no work and I want to help my family as well. Thank you!

• Kathryn, Beau, Josh and Lauren – Please my dearest Sacred Heart of JESUS, please bless Lauren and Josh with Holy, blessed, healthy, happy, safe, protected, peaceful, joyful, loving children.   Please dearest Sacred Heart of JESUS please heal, bless and protect Josh, Lauren, and Josh and Lauren’s children with Holy, blessed, long, healthy, peaceful, joyful, loving lives. Please my dearest Sacred Heart of JESUS please let Lauren always be peacefully, joyfully, successfully, safely, healthfully employed in her work, in her job forever and ever.  Amen.

• Wongduean S. – Please offer your prayers as she has terminal breast cancer. May God grant her mercy, heal her illness, and quickly restore her health.
• Daranee T. – Pray for Ms. Daranee Teapthong while she endures breast cancer treatment. May the Lord show you kindness. The compassion radiation eliminates the lump beneath the breast and the cancer cells.
• Ron and Jenny – Lord Jesus, I bring my relationship with Ron to You. I invite Your grace and favor into it. I thank You for favor for Your wisdom and healing. Thank You for mending, restoring, and causing this relationship to thrive beyond my wildest imaginations. Let Your love and peace reign between us and cause good actions, and may this entire relationship be founded in Christ. Amen.

• Lucy – Please pray for my beloved wife Lucy. In remission 18 mos from stage 4 gastric cancer – we fear it may have returned. Petscan 3-18-24 – terrified. She is my love & my life – can’t go on without her. WE NEED A MIRACLE. Your continuing prayers needed. Lord hear our prayer.

• Ronika – Please pray that Ronika gets healed from depression.
• Rudimar P. – My Brother Rudimar  was diagnosed with a tumor in his pancreas. He’s still waiting for his health care plan to authorize the biopsy procedure. Two years ago he had his leg amputated due to complications in a diabetic ulcer in his feet. God only knows how he’s feeling. I ask you to pray for his cure.

• Children In Need – Please offer a thousands of masses and prayers to our Holy Trinity and Virgin Mary and angels and saints that all heavenly court unite it self and with Jesus as leader protect to children from any abuse and harm in. That God himself delivers them from any evil and protect them and restore them and bless them and guide them Also please pray and offer Masses for children and innocent People in Israel and in Palestine and in whole world that God protect them and delivers them from any kind of evil in mighty name of Jesus.   I firmly believe that Heavenly court can deliver and protect children from any harm.

• Roberto B. – I am begging for prayers for my brother, Roberto Antonio Borromeo, 63 years old. His right eye is blind already due to glaucoma. Please save his left eye. Please pray for Roberto. Thank you so much.
• Teresa – Please pray for my daughter Sophie. Feeling for chronic pain . Also in Depression, anxiety and mental illness . Also have phobia from people and have bad nightmare . She need inner healing and now she is hospitalized . They are giving too much medicine, and she have stomach problem with that . She also feel bad . She also prayer to god that she quickly come back to home healthy. She have problem with Medicine , have diarrhea and other problem, so side effects of medicine too much .  Prayer for Maria .she want peaceful life . She have many problem with all this . So she beg for prayer. Please remember her in your prayers.

• Susan W. – Prayers for my amazing god-mother who was just diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. May her therapies be successful and may she find comfort in all of those who love her!

• Lisa H. –Please please let me find housing for my cats and I asap. My landlord’s son tried to throttle me because I wouldn’t give money. My landlord’s in a nursing home and been declared mentally incompetent. There is no POA and factions created in the family. The daughters said I could stay until I found a new place but I don’t trust or believe them. They are not reliable. I have a restraining order but the son is treated more like a pet than a criminal by the local police. I have no friends or family and am 67 years. Costs of maintenance of house, utilities, property taxes etc have caused me to be unable to save money on fixed income. Mewsette and Vicky are my family and my ESA . Please please pray the people at Choices can help and my therapist and psychiatrist can do something I need a miracle so I can raise money to go home to Elmhurst, IL or Villa Park, IL or just home or move another state. Please bless everyone on this site and answer their prayers asap. Thank you for my blessings.
