Updates and Happenings from the St. Vincent de Paul Chicago Council

The St. Vincent de Paul Chicago Council is hard at work! See some highlights and features that we have been a part of below.

Spirit of Love Spring Benefit – May 16, 2026

Nearly 200 Vincentians and friends gathered at Maravela’s Banquets in Ingleside, IL, for an unforgettable evening of great food, lively entertainment, exciting raffles, and meaningful fellowship. It was truly a celebration of community and compassion in action.

Make sure you mark your calendars for the Spirit of Love Fall Benefit on Sunday, October 18 at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL. We look forward to celebrating with you again!

Chicago Catholic x St. Vincent de Paul Chicago

From thrift stores to Conferences, food pantries to clothing drives, and everything in between, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Chicago is hard at work ensuring those in need are taken care of. A special thanks to Chicago Catholic who highlighted many of the good works our Vincentians do throughout Cook and Lake Counties. To read more, click here: Serving Chicago since 1857

Around Town with WGN’s Ana Belaval

WGN’s very own Ana Beleval came to our Libertyville Thrift Store to check out the treasures and learn how the Society of St. Vincent de Paul helps those in need through our store and Care Card Voucher program. Check out the videos below.
